About
A Smarter Approach to Women’s Health
Arcadia Women's Wellness was created to give women a more thoughtful, modern, and personal healthcare experience.
Too many women reach midlife feeling dismissed, rushed, or confused by conflicting information about hormones, weight, mood, sleep, sex, and long-term health. Arcadia Women's Wellness was built to change that experience. We believe women deserve time, clarity, and care that connects the dots.
Our model combines evidence-based medicine with a relationship-driven patient experience. That means we listen carefully, explain options clearly, and build individualized plans that reflect each patient's symptoms, health history, risk factors, and goals.
Our Mission: Arcadia Women's Wellness provides modern, compassionate, evidence-based women's healthcare for every stage of life, with a special focus on perimenopause, menopause, hormones, metabolic health, and preventive gynecology. We help women understand what is happening in their bodies and feel confident about their options.

What makes Arcadia Women’s
Wellness Different?
We focus on practical care. Sometimes that means discussing menopause hormone therapy. Sometimes it means non-hormonal options, nutrition and metabolic support, contraception counseling, additional testing, preventive screening, or simply helping a patient understand what is normal and what needs attention.
Perimenopause and menopause are major health transitions, but many women are not given enough support during these years. As Menopause Society Certified Practitioners, Julia Cyr, DNP and Kristina Calligan, FNP bring focused training and patient-centered perspective to hormone and menopause care.
Clear education instead of confusing medical jargon
Individualized care instead of one-size-fits-all plans
Evidence-based options instead of trends without context
Preventive care that looks beyond a single symptom
A warm, modern experience that makes patients feel respected
Meet Our Team
Julia Cyr, DNP
Julia Cyr is a board-certified nurse practitioner, Doctor of Nursing Practice, co-founder of Arcadia Women’s Wellness, and certified by The Menopause Society. She has advanced fellowship training in women’s health and specializes in contraception counseling, hormone health, adolescent gynecology, menopause care, PMOS, endometriosis, infertility, wellness, and weight management.
-
Julia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University and went on to complete her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Arizona. Her background began in nursing, where she worked in trauma, cardiac, and step-down units before becoming a traveling nurse and gaining experience in hospitals across the country. Those years shaped the way she cares for patients today — with compassion, attention to detail, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.
Women’s health has always been Julia’s passion. She created this practice with the vision of providing thoughtful, personalized care for women through every stage of life.
Outside of work, Julia is a wife and mom to two wild and wonderful kids. In her free time, she can usually be found hiking, playing tennis, or curled up with her Kindle.
-
Julia’s approach is integrative and whole-person, combining evidence-based medicine with thoughtful attention to lifestyle, hormones, nutrition, emotional well-being, and each patient’s personal goals. She believes women deserve to feel heard, supported, and empowered when making decisions about their health. She strives to create a collaborative, welcoming environment where patients feel cared for as whole people — not just a list of symptoms.
Kristina Calligan, FNP
Kristina Calligan, FNP, co-founder of Arcadia Women’s Wellness, and certified by The Menopause Society. She provides personalized, evidence-informed care for women throughout every stage of life. Her clinical interests include hormonal health, perimenopause and menopause, abnormal bleeding, and complex gynecologic conditions such as PMOS and endometriosis. Kristina helps patients understand their symptoms and make informed decisions about their care.
-
Kristina has extensive experience in women’s health, including preventive care, menstrual concerns, sexual health, gynecologic procedures, PCOS, endometriosis, and menopause management. Her clinical and leadership experience inspired her to co-found Arcadia Women’s Wellness—a practice designed to give women more time, education, and individualized support.
-
Kristina believes women deserve to feel heard when something does not feel right. She looks beyond isolated symptoms to consider hormonal changes, lifestyle factors, and underlying gynecologic conditions. By clearly explaining testing and treatment options, she partners with each patient to create a practical, personalized plan aligned with her health needs and goals.
Our Founding Story
After working together for almost a decade, Julia Cyr, DNP, and Kristina Calligan, FNP, developed a shared vision for women’s healthcare—one built around listening, education, and truly personalized care.
We founded Arcadia Women’s Wellness because women deserve more than rushed appointments and one-size-fits-all solutions. We wanted to create a practice where patients have the time and support to explore the full picture of their health, whether they are seeking preventive care, navigating perimenopause or menopause, or managing conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, and sexual health concerns.
Our years of working side by side have shaped a collaborative approach grounded in clinical evidence, honest conversations, and respect for each patient’s goals. Arcadia Women’s Wellness was created to be a place where women feel heard, informed, and empowered to take an active role in their health at every stage of life.
