Women's Health Conditions We Treat
Carefully Considered
At Arcadia Women's Wellness, we believe every woman deserves answers. Many gynecologic and hormonal conditions are misunderstood, underdiagnosed, or dismissed for years before appropriate treatment begins. Our providers take the time to listen, perform a comprehensive evaluation, and develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving your long-term health and quality of life.
Women's Health Conditions We Treat
-
Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus, causing inflammation and chronic pain. While pelvic pain is common, symptoms can also include painful periods, pain with intercourse, bowel or bladder discomfort, fatigue, and infertility. Because symptoms vary widely, diagnosis is often delayed.
At Arcadia Women's Wellness, we provide thorough evaluations, imaging when appropriate, medical management, and referrals for advanced surgical care when needed. Our goal is to help patients regain function and improve quality of life.
-
Fibroids are non-cancerous growths of the uterine muscle that are extremely common during the reproductive years. While some women have no symptoms, others experience heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pressure, urinary frequency, constipation, painful periods, or difficulty becoming pregnant.
We work closely with each patient to determine whether observation, medication, minimally invasive treatment, or surgical referral is the best approach based on symptoms, reproductive goals, and the size and location of the fibroids.
-
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormonal conditions affecting women of reproductive age. Although some organizations have begun using the term Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), PCOS remains the most widely recognized medical diagnosis in the United States. It can affect menstrual cycles, ovulation, fertility, metabolism, skin health, and long-term cardiovascular health.
Symptoms may include:
Irregular or absent periods
Acne
Excess facial or body hair
Weight gain or difficulty losing weight
Scalp hair thinning
Difficulty becoming pregnant
Our comprehensive evaluation includes hormone assessment, metabolic screening, ultrasound when appropriate, and individualized treatment plans focused on symptom management and long-term health.

Persistent itching, irritation, burning, or skin changes are never "just something you have to live with." Chronic vulvar conditions can significantly affect daily comfort, sexual health, and overall quality of life.
Lichen Sclerosus
Lichen sclerosus is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that most commonly affects the vulva. Symptoms often include severe itching, irritation, discomfort, pain with intercourse, and changes in the appearance of the vulvar skin. Without treatment, scarring and narrowing of the vaginal opening can occur.
Early diagnosis and long-term management are important to control symptoms, prevent complications, and monitor for rare precancerous changes.
Seborrheic Dermatitis
Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that can occasionally affect the vulvar area, leading to itching, redness, scaling, and irritation. Because symptoms overlap with yeast infections, eczema, and other vulvar disorders, an accurate diagnosis is essential to ensure effective treatment.
Our providers carefully evaluate vulvar skin conditions and develop treatment plans that restore skin health while minimizing irritation and recurrence.
